Day 2: First Game

Dear Diary,

Today my friend and I went into our first game together. Since I just started, I only have a few champions available to play as. Luckily, Ashe is one of those Champions. My friend Told me not to even bother looking at the other champions since we already knew I was going to focus on being an ADC. I knew he only had my best interest at heart because I did not want to lane alone in the game, and the only way to lane together was for us to do Bot Lane.

As long as we communicate efficiently and I “git gud” (some other players gave me this solid advise during our bot games) I should be off to a great start to becoming an amazing ADC.

It was an interesting day none the less. We focused on staying in our lane and killing minions. He told me that as long as I got the last hit on minions I would be able get gold to buy cool items to make my character stronger. He would help me widdle down their health so that I could get the last hit but always accidently managed to take the last blow. This also seemed to be the case with enemy champions in our lane, but since I am just starting I know that it has to be my reaction time. I’m sure that with enough practice I will be last hitting those creatures in no time!

At least… that’s what he told me. I hope he’s right.

Though after looking out our scores at the end of the game I noticed that his, what I believe is Creep Score, was about 200 more than mine. Once again, I’m sure that will fix itself as I advance as a LoL player! I’m already advancing in using the acronym!

Well so far the main thing that I was told I needed to work on was not dying to turret.

If I remember what was yelled at me correctly, the main steps that I need to follow are

1. If I have a death wish, attack enemy champs under turret.
2. If I have a death wish, continue to attack turret when my minions aren’t there
3. If I have a death wish, attack enemy champions while no one is around and I have no health or items to call my own.

I think there were more death wishes that I seemed to have but those are the main ones I remember. I will work on these three first!

I think tomorrow, if he has time, we shall be playing our first bot game with random people! I am excited to see how that goes. Hopefully I will learn more and maybe even discover new champions to play as (well only ADC champions of course).
